And another thing, like many other have mentioned, is that the movie isn't completely history accurate. However the show at the end look wintery and Christmasy enough.

I don't know how often its snowing in Paris, (and of course they may have some months of practicing) ( and I guess the animators didnt want to put these two kids in a too tough setting when they're escaping from the orphanage) but at least some snowflake or Christmas decorations on the streets when it was getting close to premiere would have been nice. It looks more like it takes place in the middle of the summer. The only problem I have with this movie is the thing that she's gonna try to get the role as Clara in the Nutcracker that has premiere on Christmas Eve / Day, but the setting on the environment doesn't look that much Christmasy or wintery. But she still has morals and is ambitious about following her dreams and know what's right and wrong. She might be a little bratty, but due to her background as an orphane girl without parents raising her it's quite understandable. The main character is a good role model for kids. You think it is gonna end but then you get another little climax. Without give it away it also has a little plot twist, not that big but a little, at the end. I also like how the moral about following your dreams comes through very well and how it shows how it can go both downhill and uphill. Found myself listen to the soundtrack afterwards repetedly. Needed or not they are really nice to listen to and set a very relaxing mood to the movie. It looks very sunny and bright and the facial expressions looks very pretty too. The animation is very beautiful to watch. It's not that complex, it pretty much just scraps on the surface, but it really is its simpleness that makes it so nice to watch. I think it's a very sweet movie! Watched it in cinemas and didn't expect I was going to wanna rewatch it so many times (like 100 times!!:D) on DVD and Digital! It's a nice story that reminds you of childhood and its innocence and adventures. Ugh! Do 20 seconds of research on your phone before you write stupid mistakes into a movie that will probably be on Netflix forever! The little girls would not have been competing for a part in the Nutcracker because it was not written until ten years after the story takes place, and it was written by a Russian composer- not a French one! It turned green after being out in the weather for a very, very long time! The Statue of Liberty was not green while it was being made! It is made of copper. The historical inaccuracies were so blatant and absurd.

They actually weren’t even needed at all to move the story forward, since there was already a conflict with her trying to make it as a professional ballerina while being an orphan in the late 1800s. The boy did not need to go to the extremes he did to try to win the girl, who was already his best friend. This film could have been good but it needed a person who has written successful stories to edit it before it was produced. Maybe those kids should stick to watching only Veggie Tales? That's safe in every aspect, they can be funny and educational too! this movie (Leap) doesn't have nearly the amount of those 'uncomfortable' scenes the others I mentioned have. I don't have an issue with those, but just saying. There are a lot more 'sexy' scenes, bullying, and 'murdering/death' in a TON of Disney movies like Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, even Pixar movies like Cars and Tory Story.

I have to say, that's just being WAY too picky. Other than that, the movie is good! I've seen some comments on here about too much bullying, 'murder' 'sexy' scenes, etc. They were funny lines, made the movie more enjoyable. why 'fix' what's not broken? This is pretty annoying! Really miss those lines (yes, I memorized them - had seen it about 100 times before today). We have really enjoyed the movie, but this kind of stuff makes me not want to re-watch. Why? It was perfectly fine the way it was before! Does anyone know why lines are different now? Movie is great! My 4yo has been enjoying this movie for some time now however, we haven't watched it in a little while until today () and noticed that a good amount of the lines were changed.
